I’ve been up since 4:41 am. This has become pretty normal for me in the last 18 months. Especially when I’m on a higher dose of prednisone. I’m on 50 mg right now. This makes for jittery nerves and insomnia. But also really helps the pain and inflammation I’ve gotten accustomed to-so I’m very grateful for the reprieve from that!
What do I do in the early morning hours? Well, if I’m feeling okay and just can’t sleep-there’s a lot I can do-I can read my Bible, I can pray for people, I can read the news-scroll through Twitter, check social media, watch a show…
This morning I decided to start a blog. I don’t know who wants to hear my story-but maybe someone does. And maybe it would be helpful for me to get some of my feelings and experiences down. I know I’ve been encouraged by reading about other people’s journeys. The last time I had a blog was the winter we spent on Thetis Island, BC in 2007-08. A lot has happened since then!
So hear it goes…
